What is a Central Vacuum System:
A central vacuum is comprised of a large canister unit mounted outside of the home, or in a garage. Piping is then installed through the walls of the home with inlets placed in strategic areas throughout the house. To use a central vacuum, you simply attach a hose to the inlet and affix the power head to the hose. The chief advantage of a central vacuum cleaner is that it takes the dust and dirt from inside the living area and moves it outside of the living area. Many modern homes are virtually sealed units, and a central vacuum ensures that dirt is effectively removed from the living space inside the home. Studies indicate that a carpet can double in weight in less than a year if dirt is not removed from the living area.
People choose Central Vacuum Systems because it does a better job. It's as
simple as that. More power is the key. Because the vacuum is mounted on a wall,
unlike portable vacuums, there's no size or weight limit. The motor can be, and
is, much more powerful. Added power means you clean deeper. You remove more dirt
and dust, and do it faster.

QUIETER - The motor unit is trucked away in a utility area, garage, or basement, where it won't interfere with sleeping, talking, television, or Music. |
HEALTHIER - Your home will be a healthier place because dirt, dust, and allergens are removed to collection unit located out of your living area. There is no recirculation of dust mites, dirt, and mold back into the air you breathe. One third of U.S. homes have residents with asthma and/or allergy problems, and many benefits of central vacuums. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency recommends central vacuums for healthy homes. |

CLEANER - There are no leaky sweeper bags blowing dust and dirt back into the room. Motors for built-in systems are from 3 to 5 times more powerful than those in regular vacuums; you'll clean much more thoroughly and perhaps less often! |
EASIER - No heavy equipment to drag around. It even makes stairs easy. Nearly all built-ins come with customized attachments, and hoses up to 30' feet in length make movement from room to room and up and down stairs easy. |
MORE CONVENIENT - With just a few wall inlets you clean each room in the home. Use your attachments to do carpet, hardwood, ceramic and all other floor surfaces, as well as drapes, walls, antiques, verticals, car, and garage. |
"A recent study conducted by the University of California at Davis called upon 25 allergy sufferers to participate in a six-month experiment. Their mission? To pay close attention to their vacuuming habits. The study was divided into two parts: for three months, participants would vacuum their homes using a conventional-or portable-vacuum. For another three months, they would use a central vacuum system. Each week, participants would report on the state of their allergies. When the six months were up, these individuals relayed significant improvements in eye, nasal and non-nasal symptoms, as well as improvements in sleep, emotional well being and overall level of activity while using the central vacuum system.
